About this report

Scope, standards and method

Product: jrcgenerators.com, all public pages. Standards: WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the benchmark the U.S. Department of Justice uses for ADA web accessibility and adopted for state and local governments in its 2024 Title II rule; and the WCAG 2.2 Level AA additions. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act incorporates WCAG 2.0 Level AA, which WCAG 2.1 AA fully includes.

Method: automated testing with axe-core on every page in light and dark mode at desktop, tablet and phone widths; keyboard only walkthroughs; 320 px reflow, 200% zoom and text spacing checks; contrast measured against WCAG formulas. Third party content: the Windy.com weather radar and PowerOutage.us outage map are provided by those companies; equivalent information is linked as accessible text.

This is JRC's own evaluation (self assessment), not a legal certification. We recommend periodic review by an independent accessibility tester, including screen reader users.
